Operation Give Life is honored to present the Fourth Annual “Strings For Dreams” benefit, a charity event that donates 100% of the proceeds to finding a cure for all types of childhood cancers. So far, we as a community have raised $13,975 dollars for this cause. In the U.S. childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death among children raging from 0-19 years of age. There is hope, studies show in the last 40 years the overall survival rate for a child diagnosed with cancer has increased from 10% to almost 90%. With your help, a 100% survival rate will be seen in our lifetime. For a $25.00 dollar donation you will listen to today’s hottest acoustic performers, have access to an amazing buffet, as well as unlimited Bud Light Drafts and drink specials. There will be a ton raffle prizes to be won and laughs to be had. Your performers include Acoustic Marshpit, www.theacousticmarshpit.co

We love helping people out, that’s what we do. It’s why I started this organization in 2008. Pam Evans needed finical assistance and we came through! She sent us a beautiful Thank You letter which we wanted to share with you and in hopes gets you inspired.
I received the check from you and your organization in the amount of 500.00 and I am thrilled, overwhelmed and grateful!!!! It is with joyful heart that I will send Jefferson Radiology the check to offset the bill I received. I feel incredibly blessed and indebted to you and your organization for helping me. As you may know I am a food server/bartender in the hospitality industry and had to take 2 weeks off after my breast lumpectomy due to the removal of 4 lymph nodes. When I can’t work I don’t get paid and your check was a total Godsend!!!! I have appointments tomorrow with both my radiologist and oncologist and am praying that I will only need 6 weeks of radiation to say goodbye to cancer, but I will find out tomorrow. Throughout this journey with cancer I have embraced the goodness of my family, friends, coworkers and regulars in the restaurants I work. I found a quote that embodies how I feel: “It is impossible to feel depressed and gratitude in the same moment.” I have had an abundance of gratitude, each step of this and you and your organization are definitely giving me joy in the goodness of humanity!!!! Thank you so much and thanks so much to my very dear friend, and charity worker extraordinaire Austin for thinking of me for this donation.
THANK YOU to everyone who attended and donated to #GO4Life. The event was a huge success raising over $15,000 for George Officer! Without the support and generosity of all of YOU, this could have never happened! To date, this was the biggest event for OGL. #GO4Life helped push us over $20,000 raised in 2015. It is incredible to see how far we’ve come since we started OGL in 2008, when we held one event and raised $1200! Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you all at our 3rd annual Strings For Dreams event on July 17th!
George is still in need of a liver, so please if you would like to help, visit his page for all the info. Click HERE

This 36” x 24” gallery wrap metallic print is an exclusive edition one of one Vivid Fine Art Print by Las Vegas Photographer Mikey McNulty. The digital negative will be destroyed at the completion of this auction and the winner will be the owner of the exclusive image, which is a part of the Vivid Fine Art Collection. (http://www.VividFineArt.com). The proceeds of this auction will be donated towards Operation Give Life 2009, a cancer benefit nightlife event founded by DJ/Producer Randy Boyer
Mikey McNulty is the creator of the Vivid Fine Art Collection. Vivid is a truly unique & exclusive style of photography, created by using a technique called “shutter drag”, which is commonly found in McNulty’s nightlife photography. Every Vivid piece is created strictly and exclusively in-camera with the movement of the camera and the variety of light sources in the frame – no image editing program manipulation. This makes each photograph entirely unique and 100% unrepeatable.
The shutter drag technique has been used for years in McNulty’s photography, but has been taken to an unprecedented level in the Vivid series. After 5 years of professional photography experience in the entertainment industry and portraiture work, the lights of the finest cities in America have been isolated and permutated to create the Vivid Fine Art series.
Operation Give Life (OGL) was started in 2008 by Randy Boyer in an effort to raise money for cancer research. Every day over 1,500 people in the United States lose their battle against cancer.
